Our Mission

We are committed to making mental health support more accessible for marginalised communities across Hampshire and beyond. Our mission is to provide inclusive, non-judgemental counselling for people navigating the challenges of modern life, including climate and eco-anxiety, gender identity, grief, and social isolation.

We strive to create a welcoming space for LGBTQ+ individuals, single parents, people from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds, and anyone who has felt excluded from traditional mental health services. Through empathy, understanding and professional support, we aim to empower every individual on their journey towards greater emotional wellbeing.

Our Counsellors

Finding a counsellor who truly understands your experiences can be difficult. Collective Counsellors exists to make that search easier.

Every counsellor listed with Collective Counsellors is a member of a recognised professional body, works under regular clinical supervision, and manages their own independent, insured practice. We do not provide therapy directly — we connect you with practitioners we trust.

I’m a therapeutic counsellor offering a warm, accepting and non-judgemental space where you can explore whatever is happening in your life at your own pace. My approach is primarily person-centred, which means I believe that you are the expert on your own experiences. I’m not here to tell you what to do or try to “fix” you. Instead, I aim to work alongside you, helping you understand yourself, your feelings and the patterns or experiences that may be affecting your life. My counselling experience includes working with both young people and adults, supporting clients with anxiety, low self-esteem, identity, relationships, family difficulties, life changes and feelings of not quite knowing where they belong. I have a particular interest in identity and LGBTQIA+ experiences and understand how important it can be to find a counsellor with whom you feel genuinely accepted and able to be yourself. I recognise that starting counselling can feel daunting, particularly if you are unsure what you want from it. You don't need to arrive with everything worked out. We can begin with where you are now and explore together where you would like to go.

Sometimes life can feel overwhelming, and finding someone who will genuinely listen and understand can make a real difference. As an Integrative Counsellor, I aim to create a warm, accepting space where you can feel comfortable being yourself and talking openly about what is going on for you. I believe counselling is about having the space to slow down, reflect and make sense of what you are experiencing. I am particularly interested in supporting people experiencing bereavement and loss. Grief can affect us in many different ways, and there is no single “right” way to grieve. I offer a space to explore the emotions, changes and challenges that can accompany loss, at a pace that feels right for you. I am also interested in eco-anxiety and the emotional impact of living in a changing world. Feelings of worry, helplessness, sadness or uncertainty about the environment can be difficult to talk about, and counselling can provide a space to explore these feelings without judgement. Whatever has brought you to counselling, we can take the time to explore it together, at a pace that feels comfortable for you. My hope is that through our work together, you can feel heard, understood and supported as you navigate your own experiences.

You might be considering counselling because something in your life feels difficult to carry, make sense of, or navigate. Perhaps you’re facing a specific challenge, or you’re aware of a more general feeling that something isn’t quite right – even if you can’t yet put it into words. The way I work is that I draw on a range of different therapeutic approaches and adapt to meet your individual needs. Rather than offer advice, my role is to walk alongside you and offer a collaborative space where we can work at a pace that feels right for you. I work with individual clients aged 16 and above, supporting them through a variety of challenges – from everyday difficulties in relationships or work, to anxiety, depression, bereavement and major life transitions. I have a particular interest working with clients who are exploring questions around meaning and purpose, spirituality, difference and diversity, or who find themselves asking deeper questions about who they are and how they want to live.
